We are pleased to invite you to attend the Open Dialogue Session of the Chief Science Advisers' Roundtable (CSAR), jointly organised by UNESCO and the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. This session will be held on Friday 6 September 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Room XI at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France.
The CSAR was launched in 2023 during the Indian G20 presidency to provide a platform that brings together chief science advisers and their equivalents from across the globe to discuss contemporary and emerging global policy issues of common importance.
The Open Dialogue will gather chief science advisers, the UNESCO Permanent Delegations and the representatives of the relevant international scientific and science advisory bodies to discuss the impact of the science advice mechanisms in building trust in science and generate insights on building science advice capacity at the country, regional and international levels.
