On the occasion of the 164th Birth Anniversary of Legendary Indian Scientist Acharya Jagdish Chandra Bose, Vijnana Bharati and Ministry of Culture, Government of India in association with Indraprastha Vigyan Bharati and Inter-University Accelerator Centre, New Delhi, invites you to the International Conference on Contributions of Acharya Jagdish Chandra Bose: A Satyagrahi Scientist on 30th Nov. & 1st Dec. 2022 at IUAC, New Delhi.
The objectives of this Conference are to expand the legacy and contribution of Acharya Jagdish Chandra Ray in Society with an aim to increase general awareness about the pioneer of radio and microwave optics. J C Bose discovered wireless communication and was named the Father of Radio Science by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE). He was responsible for the expansion of experimental science in India. From his contribution to biophysics to his contribution to the freedom struggle, there are numerous facets of his life that are undiscovered.
This conference wishes to provide a voice to the unheard contributions of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose in the walks of the pre-independence era as a scientist and a freedom fighter.
