Bio-Note: Ms Carolina Mye Saito holds a degree in Law from the Federal University of Pernambuco. In University she also participated in language programmes in France and Canada and attended Law School at the University of Sevilla, Spain. She joined the diplomatic service in 2018 and worked at the Space, Sea and Antarctic Division and the Division of Europe. At the Division of Europe, Carolina was deputy head, and worked closely with countries like Spain and Portugal and also with international bodies as the European Union and the Ibero-American General Secretariat, having joined negotiations of the Mercosur-EU agreement. In India since 2021, Carolina has been working as the head of the Science, Technology, Innovation, Energy and Environment Section, supporting events, ministerial visits and promoting cooperation between India and Brazil.
