We are pleased to inform you that an "International Conference and Exhibition on Building Energy Efficiency" is being organized by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Government of India and Indo-German Energy Forum (IGEF), GIZ from 9th to 11th September 2019 in New Delhi, India.
The Bureau of Energy Efficiency and GIZ have been working cohesively to enhance the contribution of energy efficiency within the climate change goals as committed by the Government of India during the Paris Climate Agreement. The partnership has been extended across various sectors to enhance efficiency levels. Keeping in view, increasing building stock and urbanization, the partnership has been extended to work aggressively for promoting energy efficiency in the buildings sector.
The theme of the International Conference and Exhibition is "Augmenting Nature by Green Affordable New-Habitat (ANGAN)". It would serve as a platform to foster National and International strategic collaborations, partnerships, networks and information exchange to promote energy-efficient habitat. Eminent technology providers from around the world will gather to exhibit innovative solutions to enhance sustainability in the context of buildings. Furthermore, a brief note on each exhibited technologies is scheduled to be published as part of the compendium.
