Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer' (ACTREC) in association with Institute of Scientometrics (IoS) is organizing 'National Conference on Scholarly Communication and Scientometrics' (IoS 2019) (https://ios2019.wixsite.com/conference) November 2019 at ACTREC, Navi Mumbai. The Theme of the conference is focusing on the landscape of scholarly communication, which has undergone tremendous change over the last two decades adding more dimensions and complexion to it. It has thrown a great challenge for library and information science professionals to manage dynamic online resources. Similarly, it is equally critical for policymakers to evaluate the research contributions contributed by researchers in peer-reviewed journals and various other sources using metrics and trending tools.
In the past, IoS has organized seven conferences in a series from 2012, which were proved to be great contributions to the knowledge of metrics and sharing new ideas on various quality indicators to measure science. It is the 8th conference under this series, we wish to continue this trend by way of contributing newer ideas to the landscape of research metrics and scholarly communication. IoS 2019 is expected to bring a galaxy of speakers from Subject Experts, Researchers, Academicians, Library and Information Science professionals, Students, Policy Makers and other administrators who are engaged in measuring the quality of science.The conference will have Plenary talks, Keynote Presentations, Thematic Events, Collaborative Learning, and Networking. - 30th September 2019 – Submission of full papers
- 8th October 2019 - Notification of acceptance with comments
- 15th October 2019 - Submission of final paper incorporating comments
- 21st October 2019 - Registration deadline for authors
